WSOP 2011

Back again. This will be the 7th year I have played in a WSOP event. I guarantee a cash. I think I will go much deeper though. This year Im so calmly in the moment. Ive realized quite a few things about poker that had previously gone unnoticed.
   Im going to play in Event #20 the $1k buyin No Limit Holdem. I think the first one of these this weekend had about 5000 entrants. Should be a nice payout with over $1 million to first place. My life is more stable than ever and Im feeling really great. See you at the tables.

Binion's event #4

Bye bye. First hand back from dinner break. JJ vs KK. I lose 15k. Second hand. 55 vs 88 I'm out. Nothing I can do. Played well. Gonna go to Rio play a wsop satelite or two unless I find something better.

Dinner break. 60 players left. 33k stack. 1000/2000 blinds 200 antes when we come back. Feeling good. Need a double up hehe. Gonna have to start gettin some hands. Played too tight for awhile.

Binion's event #4

Second break. 105 players left. 14 spots paid. $6890 to first place. I have $35,300 chip stack. Solid. 400/800 blinds, 100 antes. Feelin great. Table dynamic has changed a bit. Only played about 10 hands last 3 levels. Worked well though. I rollin nicely next few levels should clear a few short stackers and we will be down to 50 ish by next break.

WSOP 2010 Day #1

Today is the first day of WSOP 2010. The casino employee event is running as I type this. They had 716 entrants at the end of level one. Not sure how long they keep registration open. I walked around and took a few pictures. There were about 10 satellite tables running. About 20 cash games going too. Got a shot of the new bracelet Ill be owning later in the series. They have cool new presentation stage set up for winners.In the center at the far end of the room. The main tournament room appears to have moved down the hall towards the casino a bit. The old Amazon room was locked up so I dont know if there are tables there or not. The main walk through center the room is neat with all the flags hanging from the ceiling.
The restrooms and smoking area are still outback. The new layout for the Poker Kitchen is extra nice and it appears the food should be much better than in the past years. There is a room set up as just a bar area with tables and couches and a few sales tables. Comfortable place to relax. A room called the Pro Choice is there too but it was unmanned and I couldnt figure out what it was for. Looks like things are gearing up nicely. Should be a great year. Ill post more here as it happens around me.
